Chelsea can create history this season by winning four trophies, namely FA Cup, English Premier League, UEFA Champions League and the Carling Cup, which they have already won.
Playing with full desire of the same, Chelsea beat Liverpool 1-0 in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semifinal. Though, Liverpool is still not out of the contention but they have to play some attacking football to beat Chelsea in the return leg at Anfield.
Coming back after a long injury layoff, England and Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole scored the only goal of the match in the first-half. Liverpool goalkeeper Jose Reina had a good day at the office as he saved plenty from Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard. Steven Gerrard was instrumental throughout the game for Liverpool but was denied by a brilliant second half stop by Chelsea keeper Petr Cech.
